About the role
We are helping Edblad find their new Online Merchandiser. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented person to join their growing e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing product merchandising, managing stock levels, and supporting sales analysis to drive online growth. You will collaborate closely with various teams to enhance the user experience, maximize product visibility, and ensure seamless navigation. In this role, you will report to Kristin Martinsson, E-commerce Manager at Edblad. You will be based at their office on Grev Turegatan in Stockholm.
Responsibilities:
What you will do and some of the responsibilities in the role:
- Organize products into appropriate categories to enhance the user experience. Make products discoverable and desirable to customers, maximising online product revenue and profit.
- Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure alignment on product launches, seasonal promotions, and overall merchandising strategy.
- Close collaboration with the Content Specialist to optimize product listings and product display for cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Being responsible for using all current and future online merchandising tools like; onsite search tools (Klevu), product recommendation software, A/B testing, reviews and ratings etc.
- Examine product performance metrics, regional sales trends, and customer behaviors to optimize merchandising strategies and drive successful market expansion.
- Ensure seamless navigation and filter functionality across the site, making it easy for customers to find relevant products.
- Owning stock levels for E-Com channel.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely replenishments.
- Create inventory reports and take lead flagging low-stock items to the relevant departments.
- Support the E-Commerce Manager in analyzing sales trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Assist in preparing sales performance reports.
Who are you?
To succeed in the role as Online Merchandiser at Edblad you are or have:
- 3+ years of experience in online merchandising, e-commerce, or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and tools (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Google Analytics).
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
