
About the role
The HR Business Partner is at the heart of our HR operations and provides support to the business in HR related systems, policies and processes, including onboarding and off-boarding of personnel, as well as other programs covering the entire personnel life cycle. The HR Business Partner will also support the monthly payroll process across Europe and external stakeholders.
This position is full-time, located at the Stockholm office and will be reporting to the COO/CFO at Klättermusen.
Responsibilities and key tasks:
- Act as the primary point of contact for managers and employees on HR matters.
- Manage employee communication and working environment processes by maintaining and developing intranet content.
- Develop and implement HR policies & procedures and ensure compliance with routines
- Support employee well-being and rehabilitation plans.
- Independently lead improvement initiatives, refine ways of working, and ensure sustainable and healthy company growth.
- Coordinating performance reviews and ongoing training in collaboration with team managers.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding together with the People Operations Coordinator and team managers, supporting visa and work permit processes, onboarding experiences, and standards for working equipment and introduction packages.
- Oversee the offboarding process, including exit interviews, equipment returns, and system access deactivations.
- Act as the first point of contact for external HR service providers by managing contracts, registrations, and time reporting system introductions while ensuring payroll compliance and supporting payroll-related queries.
- Oversee Stockholm office management and best practice
- Acting as the primary contact for trade unions and workplace safety representatives, handling union negotiations, workplace safety checks, and supporting managers and employees in workplace environment matters.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for a professional who can drive initiatives forward while serving as a trusted advisor to managers at Klättermusen. This role requires someone who can confidently express their opinions, drive change, and yet approach tasks with humility. It is also essential to provide supportive and empathetic guidance, as some managers in the organization are stepping into leadership roles for their first time.
You also are or have:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience within HR operations and employee relations
- Strong background in stakeholder management (internal & external)
- Skilled in HR best practices, employment law, and business strategy alignments
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenges in real time and adapt to changing situations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Structured and well-organized
- Fluent in Swedish & English, both spoken and written
- Relevant education, such as Human Resources, Behavioral Science, or equivalent
- Experience in an international company with employees from diverse cultural backgrounds is a plus
- Experience from a fast-growing company or start-up environment is a plus
