About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Sales & Commercial Director to lead our global sales operations at Stand Studio. This role is pivotal in driving our brand strategy and expanding our international market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the luxury fashion industry, a strong business acumen, and a proven track record in sales management. You will be based in Stockholm, and responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our brand in line with the brands overall objectives.

Responsibility areas

  • Propose and execute the global sales and commercial strategy for the Stand Studio brand
  • Propose sales and profitability budgets for wholesale, marketplace sale and e-sale, manage performance and take corrective actions where necessary
  • Report sales and result performance regularly to management and owners
  • Build, support and modify when required, a professional and motivated sales agent structure
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and terms with Agents and Marketplace accounts
  • Establish long-term relationships with key accounts, including department stores, boutiques, and online retailers
  • Lead market preparations and showroom activities and represent the brand at international trade shows and events
  • Support market expansion through research and analysis of new opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams, in Stockholm and Svedala, to secure customer satisfaction
  • As a management team member, drive a business with focus on profitable growth

Who are you? 

To succeed in the role as Global Sales & Commercial Director at Stand Studio you ideally have: 

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing and sales, preferably within the luxury fashion industry
  • Excellent leadership, strategic, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in sales management eg wholesale, marketplace sale and e-sale
  • Proven track-record in budget management
  • Excellent commercial and business awareness, including digital customer behaviour
  • International experience in building and managing agents
  • A passion for Stand Studio as a brand and its products
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

STAND STUDIO was founded by Nellie Kamras in 2014 from the idea to meet a demand for expertly designed, high fashioned leather pieces at an accessible price. Since its inception the brand has expanded to deliver seasonal collections mainly in leather and faux fur, but also in wool, vegan leather and other new sustainable materials.

Today, the STAND STUDIO brand is mainly recognized for its wearable leather pieces and colourful faux fur coats for style-savvy women looking for delicate wardrobe staples.

STAND STUDIO is now a renowned contemporary fashion brand that can be found in selected premium stores throughout Europe, North America and Asia.

Stand Studio is one of the brands of House of SAKI AB. We are a Swedish fashion company with a focus on outerwear, founded in Malmö in 1987. Our goal is to constantly develop the position in design, production, distribution and marketing, strengthen the brands and create popular collections in a sustainable manner.
