About the position

As our Global E-commerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's e-commerce strategy and execution. As we expand our digital footprint, this role is instrumental in achieving growth targets and enhancing our online sales channels across seven business areas. You will work globally across the whole organization, initiating and implementing e-commerce projects and initiatives.


Responsibilities & tasks

  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align e-commerce initiatives with business goals.
  • Manage the product roadmap for our e-commerce platform to ensure increased sales performance.
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog and lead the sprints with the development team
  • Lead and manage e-commerce projects across the organization, eg. launching of new e-stores.
  • Monitor e-commerce trends, analyze data, and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Oversee and mentor the e-commerce team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external vendors and service providers.


Who are you?

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical proficiency with e-commerce platforms and tools, excellent project management skills, exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, and an analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

To succeed in the role as Global E-commerce Manager you are or have:  

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, accompanied by a solid understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce or related fields, preferably with a global scope.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful e-commerce strategies
  • Demonstrated experience working with agile processes and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
