About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical E-commerce Consultant to join our team of E-commerce consulting all-stars.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in e-commerce technology, digital infrastructure, and platform ecosystems. In this role, you will provide expert guidance to our clients, helping them optimize their e-commerce tech stacks, integrations, and digital operations. As a Technical E-commerce Consultant, you will take on interim or project-based roles such as Technical Project Manager, Product Owner, or E-commerce Manager. You will work on platform migrations, system integrations, pre-studies, and digital transformation projects, ensuring that clients have the right tools and technologies to scale their online businesses.
This role is a great fit for someone with a background in technical project management, product ownership, or e-commerce management who wants to broaden their scope across multiple clients and industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute e-commerce technology strategies that align with clients’ business objectives.
- Conduct technical assessments of e-commerce platforms, CMS, PSPs, ERP, PIM, WMS, and integrations, providing recommendations for optimization.
- Lead and support re-platforming projects, pre-studies, and system evaluations.
- Monitor and analyze clients’ technical e-commerce performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Collaborate with your manager to ensure you meet your consulting utilization and rate card development targets.
- Work closely with internal competencies across e-commerce, digital marketing, CRM, and recruitment to create synergies and maximize value for our clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce platforms and integrations.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Digital Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce technology, implementations, digital operations, or technical project management.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Centra, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.).
- Experience working with ERP, PIM, PSP, OMS, WMS, and other key e-commerce systems.
- Proven track record in platform migrations, system integrations, and technical optimizations.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions, working closely with stakeholders across business and IT.
- Driven by challenges but understands the importance of structure, creativity, and teamwork to solve them.
