What you will be doing:

As Head of Ecommerce at Stellar Equipment, you’ll own our ecommerce business end-to-end and be the driving force behind digital growth. Your mission is to create bold, seamless shopping experiences that equip our community for their next adventure, while building a scalable, profitable, and brand-aligned DTC engine.

You will work closely with the CEO and Management team, aligning ecommerce priorities with business goals and ensuring we execute with both speed and quality. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration across brand, creative, tech, and external partners, and bring clarity through strong prioritization, structured roadmaps, and data-driven decisions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership of the Ecommerce P&L (revenue, margin, costs), forecasting and performance reporting
  • Define and drive the ecommerce strategy and roadmap (growth, conversion, AOV, retention, customer experience)
  • Lead and optimize the e-commerce website for performance, user experience, design, content, and functionality
  • Own the onsite commercial calendar: launches, drops, campaigns, and merchandising priorities
  • Execute the company’s commercial and communication plan across ecommerce, CRM, and relevant marketing channels
  • Own the loyalty & CRM strategy and execution, including lifecycle programs and segmentation
  • Own organic growth (SEO and content-led acquisition) and ensure onsite storytelling supports brand strategy
  • Analyze customer and commercial data, translate insights into initiatives, and present clear recommendations to stakeholders
  • Monitor ecommerce performance metrics and continuously refine the funnel with testing and optimization
  • Own brand presentation onsite through campaigns, brand pages and product storytelling
  • Drive conversion and AOV initiatives based on sales performance and user behavior insights
  • Lead and be main point of contact for the performance marketing agency, setting direction, KPIs, and follow-up routines

We’re Looking for Someone Who

  • 7+ years of ecommerce experience, including budget and performance ownership
  • Strong GA4 user and confident in analysis, attribution thinking, and customer journeys
  • Proven commercial skills and ability to balance performance with brand building, always customer-first
  • Experience working cross-functionally and leading external partners/agencies with clear direction and accountability
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g. Centra & Storyblok) and CRM tools (e.g. Voyado) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills — able to align stakeholders and present insights clearly
  • Structured, proactive, and a creative problem solver
  • Passion for outdoor culture
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
