This is a key role within Klättermusen, responsible for shaping and supporting the organization's people strategy, culture, leadership, and growth. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the management team, you will act as a strategic HR partner while also leading and developing the HR function.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational execution and who wants to make a real impact in a growing international premium brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Business Partner
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team and managers on people-related matters.
- Translate business strategy into people initiatives that support organizational growth and performance.
- Drive organizational design and workforce planning to ensure the right capabilities for future needs.
- Support leaders in complex people decisions, change management, and team development.
- Lead leadership development initiatives and contribute to building a strong leadership culture.
Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience
- Drive and strengthen Klättermusen's culture, values, and employee engagement across all geographies.
- Own and continuously improve the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Lead engagement initiatives, including eNPS follow-up and action planning.
- Drive initiatives that support employee wellbeing, health, and sustainable performance.
HR Function Leadership
- Lead and further develop the HR function, including a People Operations Coordinator and an HR & Payroll Coordinator.
- Establish standards, governance, and best practices for HR processes and delivery.
- Ensure HR policies, frameworks, and documentation remain relevant, effective, and business-aligned.
- Partner closely with managers to enable high-quality people management throughout the organization.
Change, Growth & Compliance
- Lead HR-related aspects of organizational change, international expansion, and transformation projects.
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation, internal policies, and ethical standards across all operating regions.
- Maintain pragmatic and scalable HR processes that support both business needs and employee experience.
Who we are looking for
You are an experienced, pragmatic, and solution oriented HR professional with a genuine passion for people, leadership, and organizational development. You thrive in entrepreneurial, fast moving environments where you get to combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational HR support.
Rather than walking into a fully established corporate framework, you get energized by a blank sheet of paper. You love bringing structure, clarity, and direction to a dynamic organization, taking pride in setting up scalable processes from the ground up.
You build trust easily across all levels through strong relationship skills and natural humble authority. You have true integrity and grit, meaning you are confident in taking space, offering constructive sparring to leaders, and standing up for HR priorities with a commercial mindset.
Most importantly, you are a true culture carrier who brings enthusiasm to an active, passionate, and fast paced workplace.
Experience & Skills
- Several years of broad HR experience, for example as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
- Experience from smaller, fast moving or entrepreneurial companies, ideally with a background in retail or active lifestyle brands.
- Proven track record of working across the entire HR cycle, with a passion for building, refining, and maintaining organizational structures and processes.
- Strong knowledge of Swedish labor law and employment regulations, combined with an interest in and understanding of European employment markets (e.g., Norway, Germany, UK, and Switzerland).
- Solid experience coaching and partnering with senior leaders and management teams, acting as a trusted sparring partner with strong integrity.
- Professional fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- Previous leadership or managerial experience is a plus, but most importantly you possess the drive and confidence to lead a small operational team.
What We Offer
At Klättermusen, you will join a passionate team driven by innovation, sustainability, and a shared love for the outdoors. You will have the opportunity to shape the people agenda in a growing international company and contribute to the continued development of our culture, leadership, and organization.
The position is based in Stockholm and starts as soon as possible.
