About the role

The E-commerce Tech Lead is a key member of the digital team and report to Head of Digital Sales Sales. As E-commerce Tech Lead you will work with developing the technical side of the e-commerce business, always with a commercial mindset and with the end-consumer in focus. You will be our expert and superuser of our E-commerce platform Magento Commerce 2, creating smart technical solutions that enables us to deliver an excellent end-consumer experience and increases our internal e-com and marketing teams capabilities and efficiency. Among other things, this includes responsibility for integrations with other systems and platforms, leading the work with our external development agency and working closely with our platform partners. With a continuous improvement mindset you are presenting and executing on suggestions that can improve our e-commerce business. You will work cross-functionally collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Logistics & Purchasing, CIO, CPO and Head of Digital Sales.

The ideal candidate possesses a great understanding of the technical landscape surrounding an e-commerce business, and is used to mapping out system architecture flow charts and working with integrations between different systems. You are business minded and have a strong understanding of how the technical side influence the commercial side and vice versa. You also have great experience working with Magento 2.

Main responsibilities

  • Continuously working with developing the technical side of the E-com business
  • Being internal Superuser in Magento 2
  • Developing and improving integrations to other systems, such as CRM, ERP, payment solutions and customer service
  • Managing projects and setting requirements towards our external development agency
  • Create technical solutions and processes for integrating external brands and products in our e-commerce catalogue
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to make sure we prioritize the right things and deliver an excellent end-consumer experience
  • Present, argue and execute ideas on technical solutions that lead to improved efficiency within the e-com business.

Qualifications/Experience

  • 3+ years experience from working with platforms and system integrations within e-commerce
  • Great understanding of the technical landscape surrounding an e-commerce business
  • Strong knowledge and experience within Magento 2
  • Experience managing projects and setting technical requirements
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding
  • Able to work autonomously and execute on required tasks
