About the role
BioGaia has defined a long-term strategy and with focus on developing and growing the its D2C channel business and is therefore looking for an E-commerce Manager that can take responsibility for operating and growing that channel the E-commerce channel. In this role, you will identify business opportunities, establish clear goals and KPIs and play an instrumental role in driving BioGaia’s digital transformation on a truly global scale. plan that is well tuned in with the digital channels
Responsibilities/tasks
- Assume overall responsibility for e-commerce in Sweden and United Kingdom (existing e-commerce business)
- Analyze commercial opportunities and drive e-commerce expansion into new markets
- Act as the main interface between the Digital Team and other departments within BioGaia, as well as external resources for all e-commerce partners
- Plan and execute experiments to optimize customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Contribute to the the long-term digital strategy, taking into consideration Biogaia’s current global footprint while thinking one step ahead for digital business opportunities
- Manage and execute promotional campaigns in line with the brand strategy
- Define KPIs and create processes for driving growth and continuous learning
- Establish and lead successful partnerships to drive innovation and growth
- Stay up to date with digital trends, online consumer behavior and technological advancements within the space of digital commerce
Qualifications/Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on e-commerce experience in retail/consumer goods, preferably from a smaller organization where you’ve had the chance to fully understand what it takes to drive a successful e-commerce business
- Excellent understanding of how different systems communicate with each other (Ecom platform – WMS – CRM – ERP - PIM) and what resources are needed to be successful
- You have acted as a project leader for several complex projects that includes both external and internal resources
- Good understanding for Ecom KPIs and unit economics
- Good understanding for the customer journey and familiar with acquisition methodologies, conversion and retention – both in theory and practise
- Excellent skills in English, both written and verbal
- Relevant education in e-commerce, marketing or equivalent.
