About the position
This Managing Director role is instrumental in strengthening our presence in core markets such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, while also spearheading our launching operations in new markets across Europe. Additionally, the Managing Director will play a key role in integrating our e-commerce operations with other group ventures to maximize synergies and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Drive growth, profitability, and market share through visionary leadership and strategic decision-making.
- Strengthen our company's position in core markets through targeted marketing and sales initiatives.
- Responsible for the full PnL with a target to increase revenue
- Implement cost-control measures while maximizing revenue streams.
- Lead potential entries and establishments of our company in new European markets.
- Collaborate with other group business units to identify and leverage synergies.
- Establish performance measurement systems for data-driven decision-making.
- Build and lead a high-performance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation
Who are you?
To succeed in the role as Managing Director you are or have:
- Proven experience as a General Manager/CEO/E-commerce Director in e-commerce, ideally with a successful track record of scale-ups/transformations from ecommerce carrying non-differentiated products.
- Deep understanding of the Nordic and European e-commerce landscape.
- Financial acumen and a results-driven mindset, with a track record of driving growth and profitability
- Experience in expanding businesses into new markets.
- Experience in working with Private Equity.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action.
- Strong leadership skills capable of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
