About the position

As Sunweb's Digital Marketing Manager, your mission is to drive significant market share growth and optimize their contribution margin, fully aligned with Sunweb Group's ambitious goals. You will spearhead tactical brand and sales campaigns, execute experiments to boost traffic, and work closely with their E-commerce, Brand, Product, Pricing, and Content teams to ensure the strategy is on point. Armed with insights and performance data, you’ll continuously refine the media mix and communication strategies, ensuring that the efforts resonate with Swedish consumers. Additionally, you’ll manage the marketing budget, staying ahead of market trends, booking data, and daily activities to guarantee that Sunweb not just meeting, but exceeding their goals.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager and working closely with the Head of E-commerce and other Digital Marketing Managers, you’ll play a pivotal role in Sunweb Group's exciting journey of growth and expansion in Sweden. Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the marketing budget, ensuring all activities align with sales, margin, and marketing cost goals.
  • Regularly report key metrics and performance results to senior management.
  • Execute and track brand and sales campaigns, ensuring they align with Sunweb's international calendar while also catering to local needs.
  • Monitor and analyze digital performance daily, offering actionable insights across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Innovate and experiment with various trading formats to drive traffic, boost engagement, and increase conversions.
  • Develop and lead initiatives to bolster customer loyalty and improve their repeat purchase ratio.
  • In weekly trading meetings, share key results and insights based on competition analysis, booking data, and digital performance, collaborating closely with online advertising specialists, product managers, and data teams.
  • Establish and manage local marketing and communication partnerships to amplify Sunweb's presence.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role as Digital Marketing Manager you are/have:

  • A minimum of 7 years in a similar role within a B2C e-commerce environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the Swedish market is crucial. Experience in the tourism industry is a significant advantage.
  • In-depth expertise in digital marketing channels, performance metrics, and tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI & Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to take the lead in driving growth initiatives and effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • A sharp commercial mindset, with a proven track record of driving Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), optimizing contribution margins, and consistently meeting business and brand objectives.
  • Proven experience in managing seven-figure budgets, coupled with strong strategic planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively.

In addition to your skills, you will be expected to travel the headquarters in Rotterdam at least once a month for a few days to collaborate closely with the central team.
